DBA Street Series EV brake pads are designed for the unique braking demands of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles, that bring a shift in braking performance characteristics compared to traditional combustion engine cars. The conventional brakes on an EV operate less frequently and do not work as hard as on a ICE vehicle, resulting in lower average operating temperatures in the braking system. The DBA SS EV brake pads account for the lowering operating temperatures whilst delivering maximum stopping power. The EV-specific friction compound formulation and distinctive new shims are specifically designed to provide superior noise-reduction accommodate those requirements of modern day EVs.
